CONAN VISITS LUCASFILM

TV funnyman Conan O'Brien is in San Francisco this week, taking his show on the road. Last night, it was Lucasfilm themed evening. Not only did he interview the Man himself, he got to tour Lucasfilm headquarters. The above clip is from part two, you can view the first part here.

CROSSOVER

Well, it was a lunch for the ages on Monday. Yes, I've lunched with gwilli before. Yes, I've also lunched with GK himself. Monday was the day though where we all met at some sorta weird and powerful lunch nexus.

gwilli took the reins and gathered the troops. He hadn't seen Garrett in person for years but had kept in touch via the Internets. I said I wanted Mexican so Greg took us to this authentic Mexican place on the outskirts of the downtown east side.

I could describe the lunch here but that would be a waste of time and words. Why don't you just read gwilli's post? Don't forget to click on the pics! I gotta say that mango water stuff was awesome in a liquid way.

It was quite the meeting of the bloggers. Not quite Spider-man meets Wolverine meets the Hulk but more like a crossover between Different Strokes, Silver Spoons and Webster.

HORSE POOP

When I leave work, I usually walk by a pub on my way to the limousine stop. Next to the pub is a bunch of street parking. This evening, as I walked by the pub, right where you could park a car was a big pile of horse poop. Having grown up the son of two horse ranchers, I know horse poop when I see it and this my friends was indeed it.

It looked fresh, not more than a couple of hours old. Don't ask how I know, I just do. I have no idea why someone would park a horse where a car would usually go. That street isn't known for horse-drawn carriages nor wild horses. Nevertheless, a horse was parked outside that pub for a sufficient amount of time for it to do its business... and right by the outdoor patio too. How odd.

I'm going to see if the poop is still there tomorrow. Stay tuned mofos.

THE SLEEP REPORT

Friday night's Sleep Report is brought to you by Josten's. Take pride in your achievements and think Josten's!

I stayed up until 4am reading random Wikipedia articles. The last thing I read was on James Dyson, the successful British inventor, known mostly for his cyclone vacuums. It'd be weird if he made Cylon vacuums.

After crawling to bed, I fell asleep almost immdiately. I awoke at 10am. Using integrals, I discovered I had accumulated only six hours of sleep. This was not enough. My bladder was full though, so I arose to urinate into the nearest toilet. After doing so, I return to my bed. I was completely awake. Not believing that six hours was enough rest, I tried going back to asleep. I managed to fall asleep again and awoke at 12:30pm.

Total sleep time was approximately 8 hours. This has been your sleep report.
